I'm very pleased to announce that Dean Douglas Peers will be joining us in the School of Social Work to discuss strategies to maximize your chances of obtaining external funding, usually OGS or SSHRC. In the past, Dean Peers's guidance in these matters has been invaluable in greatly increasing the percentage of our students receiving these awards. He is coming on Friday, Sept. 10th, from 1:00-2:30 pm in the Kinsmen Building, Room 2060 to speak to Social Work students.

Because the awards are for the following year, i.e., Fall of 2011 this seminar will only really be useful to Doctoral students or MSW students in the Full-Time 2-Year program. Unfortunately part-time students are not eligible for these awards.
